Car Hacks That Make Winter Driving Safe and Easy
Get Your Car Out of the Snow Using Cardboard
You may or may not realize this, but it's usually a good idea to keep a little cardboard on hand, even in the summer. It can always assist clean up coffee spills and other liquids, but that's not all it can do. During the winter, cardboard has a specific use: if your automobile gets stuck in a thick sheet of snow, put some cardboard beneath the wheels to get it out.
Use Rubbing Alcohol on Rusty Windshields Wipers
It looks like rubbing alcohol is considerably more useful than we all assumed. If your windshield wipers are stuck, use rubbing alcohol to get rid of any extra stuff that is keeping the blades from working properly, including wax, grease, or dirt that has built up over time. It will get rid of the dirt that is keeping your wipers from moving right, which can be a big problem in the cold, wet months.
You should be fine as long as you let the alcohol dry before operating the wipers.
