Seeing a dog riding the subway alone every day, an inquisitive passenger tracked him.
Knowing the Routes
McGrath also emphasized how the dog seemed to be behaving with intent every time he got on a rail or passenger boat. It seemed as though he had a plan going from the start before he got to the station. McGrath claimed that when two trains arrived simultaneously, the dog would glance at one of them, decide that it was not the train he wanted to be on, and then go toward the second train. From his vantage point, the dog seemed to be able to read the destination boards and select whatever portion of the city he wished to visit on that given day.
Nobody is totally certain on how the dog developed to be so self-aware initially. Furthermore, most of the residents think the dog seems to have a better awareness of the public transport network than they do!
