A Local Celebrity

Chris McGrath reserved a trip to Istanbul right away upon learning about Boji the dog. Once at the site, he spent a whole day watching the dog, snapping pictures of him, and commenting about the actions and patterns he came across. In just one day, McGrath realized that among the people who used the subway, Boji had grown into really a local celebrity. Every single person either has seen him or has interest in seeing him.

McGrath remembered the day a new station eatery owner approached Boji about shooing her away. But the patrons seated at the café chastised him and claimed Boji was a local dog that wandered the station unhindered.
