A Trip to the Vet

Their interest in his behavior led them to decide to raise their level of supervision. They grew to be rather fond of the dog that had been lost over several months. To ensure he was both safe and healthy, the transportation department staff decided to bring him to the nearby veterinarian for a quick check-up. They got him into a box the following day and then drove him to the adjacent clinic. Now clearly he was a wanderer after all this time.

This caused some staff members to grow protective of the puppy since they felt it was their responsibility to ensure he got enough attention. Veterinarians were ready to pay for their services even if they can be somewhat expensive if it would help the dog in any necessary capacity.
