Though the government knew the dog was in good health, they were far too curious to let him be left alone since they wanted to know where the dog was heading. They were always fascinated in learning where the dog lived. Although they did not limit his freedom of movement inside the subway system, they decided that giving him a tracker would be the best line of action. He would so never worry about being lost and would still be free to travel wherever he wanted.

The authorities placed a microchip allowing for tracking of the dog's location in her. This microchip would forward the dog's whereabouts to a metro station computer, which would show the dog's precise daily journey traversed. They had no idea at all the actual distance their new furry friend travelled every day.
