Simple Tips to Prevent Vehicle Break-Ins

Install A Kill Switch So Your Car Won't Start

A kill switch works like an extra switch for your fuel pump; it keeps the automobile from starting until you turn it on or off. Installing a kill switch is a little harder, though, so it's better to get a pro to do it. You should also put it somewhere where it will be hard to find. But it stops a motor from getting electricity in most cases.

Some individuals go even further and install more than one kill switch. This way, if a thief does find one, they still have to find the others.

Park In Well Lit Places So Thieves Think Twice

This one sounds quite clear, but it really helps keep your car safe. If you can, only park in spots that are well-lit and out in the open, whether it's day or night. If a car thief thinks they are more likely to be observed by someone or by cameras, they are much less inclined to try to take your car or something inside. A lot of criminals won't even try to steal cars that are parked in well-lit places because they know there are simpler targets out there and they don't want to take the chance.
