Used Cars That Mechanics Say Aren’t Worth the Money

30. Hyundai Tiburon - $5,084

The Tiburon is one of Hyundai's oldest cars and is thought to be one of the worst sports cars ever made. Hyundai didn't have a lot of experience when they initially tried to enter into the market, so it's not surprising that not all of their early models were hits. The Tiburon wasn't even close to its competition. It never got anyone excited because it went from 0 to 60 in more than seven seconds and had a 2.7-liter V6 engine.

Motor1 said the handling was "lifeless" since the car didn't feel comfortable to drive. The Tiburon was a bad sports vehicle because it only had 105 horsepower.

29. Citroen Ami - $6,600

A lot of people would know this automobile from its 2020 reboot, but the original was introduced in 1961 and was made until 1978. The original was an electric quadricycle with a retro style, but it had a lot of issues. People didn't like the style and design, even if it was thought to be mechanically sound. Because the inside was so small, it was on the smaller side of car designs and was hard to sit in and drive. The car also came in a lot of different styles during its production period, such as two-seaters, four-seaters, and vans. Even though the different designs would have been more comfortable, they were all seen as cramped.
